Tennis — 12 January 2016

The Louisville Men’s Tennis team opens up regular season play versus Troy on Friday at 12 pm and the University of Dayton at 7pm. Both matches are to be played at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. The Cards are ranked 36th in the previous release of the ITA rankings. The Cards are lead by Coach Rex Ecarma and Seniors Alex Gornet and Jeffery Brown. Gornet and Brown are ranked 57th in the doubles rankings and Gornet is ranked 108th in the singles rankings. The Cards are also lead by Junior-transfer Sean Donohue, who previously played at Alabama, Redshirt Sophomore Santiago Salazar and Sophomore Courtney Lock.

The Cards have a great freshman class this year. The names to watch this year are Brandon Lancaster, Brian Tsao, Michael Quang, and George Hedley. Other names to watch are Cristian Haushammer, Carlos Longhi Neto, and Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff. Can’t wait to see how the team does this year. GO CARDS
