The Cardinals seemed out of place after going 0-3 to start the season, but after winning their last 6 of 7 games, and getting Devonte Fields, Shaq Wiggins, and Josh Harvey Clemons back next year brings high expectations. Louisville is returning most its offense including leading rusher and passer Lamar Jackson. In fact, Louisville is returning 17 of its 22 starting positions. Louisville will need consistent performances from the young offensive line and players such as Brandon Radcliff, and James Quick. If Jackson reaches his potential Louisville could end up in yet another BCS Bowl. Here’s what we think is going to happen next year…
Charlotte 49ers– Win
Kentucky beat this team last year…
at Marshall Thundering Herd– Win
Marshall went 10-3 and won their bowl game last year versus UConn, but lost to Middle Tennesse and Ohio.
at #10 Houston– Win
A hungry Louisville team looking for a win gets its revenge after this years brutal loss. Bobby will probably be out coached in this game however.
lol, the Governors Cup isn’t going anywhere
at Boston College– Win
If Boston College thinks that Patrick Towles is the answer to offense problems they are wrong… Very wrong… Ask Stoops.
at #1 Clemson– Loss
Watson vs Jackson… Clemson has taken 2 close wins from Louisville the past 2 times, and unfortunately Death Valley is too much for the Cards to end the streak.
at Syracuse– Win
New coach Dino Barbers will be good for Cuse, but they are still a year or two from competing at a high level in the ACC.
at Virginia– Win
Lamar Jackson will be able to run all over this Virginia defense who let up 145 rushing yards per game.
#6 Florida State– Win
Blackout atmosphere plus Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium will be loud and energetic. Last time Florida State came to PJCS we all watched Winston erased a 21 point deficit like it was nothing. Bobby is tired of wearing black and losing… Cards get the win.
Wake Forest– Win
Unless Tim Duncan is under center the Cards get the win easily.
Duke can be a scary good offensive team, but their trip to PJCS won’t end in a victory
NC State– Win
Lamar Jackson ran all over this team last year including this insanely fast run…
Predicted DieHardCard.com Record: 11-1
